Grandma’s cast-iron cornbread

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1\2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 can cream corn
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1\2 cup milk
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 Jalapeno’s diced
  • 1\4 cup vegetable oil

Put oil in a skillet,  Pre-heat oven and skillet at 450 F.

Mix all ingredients (except oil)

Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Then enjoy…….goes great with chili by the way.
