I picked up this archery target bag at Basspro a couple of weeks ago. Its a Morrell’s Yellow Jacket Supreme II”.
I was apprehensive to buy it as there was a few product reviews that basically said that it sucked and that it had wrecked several arrows fletching because it had not stopped the arrow from passing through the bag. I bought it anyway as some of the other models of self healing material were almost twice the price. It represented good value so I figured I would take a chance. I am happy to say that the target bag has lived up to all my expectations. I shoot a Samick Sage 55# recurve bow and even at 20 yards my arrows with standard field points only went about half way into the bag. The manufactures instructions did mention that this bag is not to be used with anything other than field points. (absolutely no broad heads) It has attachment points that you can hang the bag from, so it is very versatile as well.
For the beginner archer I give this target bag a thumbs up and will probably be picking up another when I have worn this one out. I will more than likely do a re-post on this very same bag to let everyone know how durable it was and how long you can expect it to last.
Happy shooting everyone.
